GutterTex is an operating name of DL Ventures Texas LLC (“GutterTex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit guttertex.com, request an estimate, communicate with us, or use our services.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Service or property address
- Gate codes and property-access instructions
- Requested services and project descriptions
- Estimate and scheduling preferences
- Communication and marketing-consent selections
- Messages and other communications
- Proposals, invoices, payment records, warranty information, and service history
In connection with estimates and projects, we may also collect or create photographs or videos of the property, property measurements, aerial or satellite imagery, inspection findings, project notes, and information about work performed and materials used.
Please avoid submitting unnecessary confidential or sensitive information through open-text fields.
2. Website Data, Cookies, and Analytics
Our website uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors find and use the website and to improve its performance.
These technologies may collect browser and device information, pages visited, referring and exit pages, visit dates and times, time spent on pages, website interactions, approximate location based on an IP address, and cookie or similar technology identifiers.
The website also uses cookies in connection with online scheduling, contact forms, and traffic analytics. Technical logs may be stored temporarily on the website’s hosting server and are currently deleted every 12 days.
You may control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain website functions.
3. Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising
We may use Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to understand how visitors interact with our website, improve website performance, and evaluate marketing activities.
These technologies may use cookies and similar technologies to provide behavioral analytics, heatmaps, session replays, website interaction measurements, and advertising or campaign-performance information.
Microsoft processes information according to its own privacy practices. We do not currently use Google Analytics to create targeted advertising audiences or deliver personalized advertising.
4. How We Use Information
We may use personal information to respond to inquiries, prepare and schedule estimates, determine whether a property is within our service area, create and manage customer records, communicate about estimates and projects, provide services, prepare proposals and contracts, send invoices, process payments, provide customer support, administer warranties and service calls, maintain accounting and business records, improve our website and operations, prevent fraud, protect our legal rights, and comply with legal obligations.
With your permission, we may also send occasional marketing emails or text messages containing maintenance information, seasonal reminders, or special offers.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails through the unsubscribe link in the message and from promotional texts by replying STOP. Opting out of marketing will not prevent us from contacting you about an estimate, appointment, active project, payment, warranty, or service request.
5. Estimate and Marketing Consent
Our estimate form contains two separate consent checkboxes.
The first checkbox is required so that GutterTex can use the information provided and contact the customer regarding the requested estimate.
The second checkbox is optional and allows the customer to choose whether to receive future promotional communications.
We may record whether each checkbox was selected, the date and time of the selection, and the associated customer or ServiceMinder contact record. Optional marketing consent may be withdrawn at any time.
6. Payments and Call Recordings
Payment-card information is not collected directly through the public GutterTex website. Customers may submit payments through proposal or payment pages operated through ServiceMinder and its payment-processing providers.
GutterTex generally receives only limited payment information, such as transaction details, payment status, card type, and the last four digits of the payment card.
Calls handled through our after-hours or weekend receptionist service may be recorded for customer service, appointment scheduling, quality assurance, training, or documentation. Call information may include the caller’s phone number, date and time, appointment or project details, call notes, and audio recordings or transcripts.
7. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information to service providers that help us operate the business, including ServiceMinder, ServiceMinder Pay, website hosting and maintenance providers, Google Workspace, QuickBooks, RingCentral, Perceptionist, website analytics providers, information-technology providers, insurers, accountants, consultants, and legal advisers.
We may also disclose information at your direction, to complete a requested service or transaction, to comply with laws or legal process, to investigate suspected fraud, to protect people, property, or legal rights, to enforce agreements, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale, or transfer of the business.
We do not sell personal information or customer leads.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide estimates and services, maintain customer and project histories, administer warranties, document transactions, maintain accounting and tax records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and protect our legal rights.
We may retain certain information after receiving a deletion request when it remains reasonably necessary or legally permitted for completed transactions, warranties, accounting, taxes, security, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law and relevant exceptions, Texas residents may have the right to request:
- Confirmation of whether we process their personal information
- Access to certain personal information
- Correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion of certain information
- A portable copy of certain information
- An opt-out from the sale of personal information
- An opt-out from targeted advertising
- An opt-out from certain profiling activities
GutterTex does not currently sell personal information or use Google Analytics for targeted advertising.
To submit a privacy request, contact us using the information below. Please include your full name, preferred contact information, the property or project associated with the request when applicable, and a clear description of your request.
We may request additional information to verify your identity. If we deny a qualifying request, you may appeal by replying to our response with the subject line Privacy Request Appeal.
Certain information may not be deleted when retention is reasonably necessary or legally permitted for contracts, completed transactions, warranties, accounting, tax obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
10. Communication Preferences
You may update your communication preferences at any time.
To stop promotional emails, use the unsubscribe link in the email or contact us directly. To stop promotional text messages, reply STOP or follow the instructions in the message. You may also ask us not to make promotional telephone calls to your number.
These preferences do not prevent communications that are reasonably necessary for an estimate, appointment, active project, payment, warranty, safety issue, or service request.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, loss, or disclosure.
These safeguards may include password protection, access controls, account-security measures, limiting access based on business responsibilities, use of established technology providers, confidentiality requirements, and investigation of suspected security incidents.
However, no website, electronic communication, or data-storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Children’s Privacy and Third-Party Services
Our website and services are intended for adults seeking property-improvement services. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 provided personal information without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Our website, proposals, emails, payment pages, and other communications may contain links to third-party platforms or websites. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of third parties.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our business practices, the information we collect, our technologies or service providers, or applicable legal requirements.
